Author Lt. Colonel Corinthea Stack , USMC (Ret)

"To Attend to the garden of the life which God has given me, that he gets the Glory and mankind gets the Blessing. It is His Will," is Dr. Corinthea Stack's motto.

Dr. Corinthea Stack is on of ten children born to Phamalda and the late Jessie Mae Stack. He grew up and was raised in Orangeburg County in the town of North, South Carolina where he graduated in 1978 as Salutatorian. While attending school he was enlisted with the Army Reserves and after high school he attended the Citadel, and graduated from Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC. He became commissioned with the United States Army and later resigned to join the United States Marine Corps in January 1985. He honorably served his country for over two dozen years.

He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal award on four separate occasions and the Navy Achievement Medal on three occasions. He is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran. In addition, he was awarded many Unit Citations for Leadership and Command.

He is a retired Chaplain with the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, where he served with the State of South Carolina for twenty-five years. Where he was a master trainer and was certified in weapons training, chemical training, defensive tactics, cell extraction, emergency preparedness, and supervisory training at all levels.

Dr. Stack holds undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Physical Education along with a Master's degree in Divinity in Pastoral Leadership and Pastoral Counseling from Columbia International University. He holds a Doctorate degree in Theology as well. He is a Pastor in the Seventh Episcopal District of South Carolina with the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME).

Dr. Stack is currently Board Certified with the National Chaplaincy Board. Additionally, he was awarded the Presidential National Community Service Award for 2016.

He has been married to his wife Lynn for 32 years, he has two adult children and four grandchildren. He currently resides in the Columbia, SC area.

Dr. Stacks debut work "Empty Your Bucket" will be released by Prosperity Publications, LLC on March 10, 2018. "Empty Your Bucket" is a poignant story of a mother's, love, wisdom coupled with a strong faith in God which will help you achieve anything you desire. This is a story full of southern charm, comedy, suspense and transcends across racial, socio economic status. It will make you laugh, cry, yell, but most importantly it is a testament of the love of family, community but ultimately the power of a mother's love.
