Dr. Corinthea Stack was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal award on four separate occasions and the Navy Achievement Medal on three occasions. He is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran. In addition, he was awarded many Unit Citations for Leadership and Command.

' It all began for Jerome Brown at Gardner's BBQ in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. As a teenager, he spent endless hours absorbing the wisdom shared by his mentors at this popular neighborhood restaurant. Jerome was a quick study in the kitchen and his confidence and skill set grew rapidly.

An advocate for inner-city education, Dr. Diop never forgets his roots as it relates to how he managed to overcome hurdle after hurdle to achieve academic success. Dr. Diop has written extensively on the subject of motivating black males in school and  in life.

Jodi Dione Penn was born and raised in Arlington Virginia, the third and youngest daughter of then Joe and Louise Hicks. She discovered her passion early in life but now recognizes it has become her purpose. She has always been able to describe her feelings through the powerful tools of paper and pen. 

Tony Lindsay is the author of seven novels; One Dead Preacher, Street Possession, Chasin' It, Urban Affair, One Dead Lawyer, More Boy than Girl, One Dead Doctor and two short story collections titled Pieces of the Hole and Fat from Papa�' Head.

He was a former chairman of the S.C. Appalachian Council of Governments and chairman of the Regional Area Agency on Aging. He was a past member of the county election commission, first vice president of the county Democratic Party and former member of the board of trustees of Morris College.

Antoinette Winstead, Professor of Drama and Mass Communications; is the head of the Drama and Mass Communication Department at Our Lady of the Lake University. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from New York University in Film/Television and a Masters of Fine Arts from Columbia University with a concentration in Film.

Tera Davis-Adams is an "Army brat" born into a family of career military parents. She is a native of Columbia, SC. After graduating from Morris College where she received a degree in sociology, she entered the US Navy.
